Meet S3 — Mirian, Customer Service Representative

Meet Mirian! Mirian is one of our Customer Service Representatives and has been with S3 since May of 2013. She came to S3 with no aviation experience but that has rapidly changed!
Mirian started as an intern and after just a few months quickly learned more and more. S3 hired her full time as an Admin Assistant / Data Entry Specialist, and little by little she has escalated positions; with helpful credit she likes to give to her colleagues, Mirian says, "with their knowledge, I’ve become the employee I am today. S3 is a company of new opportunities — whoever is willing to take them, they will succeed."
What is a typical work day like for you? It depends on the season, but pretty much busy; always on the phone and email.
What is your favorite part of your job? I love assisting my external customers, but I enjoyed working with my internal customers. It’s always a good day when I work hand by hand with my colleagues.
What is it like working for S3? It’s been a great experience; I believe S3 has helped me discover a part of me I didn’t know about me — I never thought I’d be working for an aviation company.
What are your strengths in correlation to your job? I can be very patient, which is an asset in any occupation, but especially customer service.
What do you enjoy outside of work/hobbies? I love reading, walking and trying different kind of foods.
